How did the short stories come about?
When I was away during the week, presenting ‘The Late Show across South Wales’ from Swansea, I decided to spend most of my days writing a novel.
Numerous other plots popped into my head but, even with my sub-GCSE maths, I calculated that to put them all into print would either mean that I’d have to be a very old man - or Frederick Forsyth.
So I used up all the plots writing short stories instead.
Since I’ve been back in Dorset, I’ve written some more.
It’s my contention that blogs are generally tedious - at best, the rabid ramblings of a rancid imagination, at worst the outlawed outpourings of a bastard bigot.
But blogs are a handy format to release one story a month - the date even acts as proof of publication, just in case anyone thinks of nicking them (which they rarely do, but go on - humour me. You know you want to).
